First of all, our thoughts and prayers to all on the East Coast; we will continue to keep you in our prayers.

Hello to everyone! Halloween has come and gone (as has the chocolate candy) and now we are waiting for the arrival of winter here in 'The Door'! It is just about time for us to think of going for our annual 'Fish Boil'; that is always such a fun event and so good!

Bring a group of friends to your favorite fish boil.  It all starts with a blazing bonfire under a kettle of salted water. It is especially good because everyone circles around to get warm and take in the crisp smell. When the temperature is perfect and the crackle of the fire seems just right, the boil master adds a basket of potatoes and onions to the kettle. After a few minutes, the mild whitefish steaks, fresh from Lake Michigan are lowered into the kettle. At just the right moment, kerosene is tossed into the fire, creating  the blaze and causing the water to boil over, dramatically carrying off the fish oil that has collected on top. The fish are taken out and a generous drizzling of butter is put over the fish. A wonderful dinner & great ambience.
Here at "Forget-Me-Not, LLC" we have been busy sending out your orders of Christmas portfolios, cards, recipe cards, tags, individual cards, etc etc etc.  Everyone loves "Carol Wilson Fine Arts Stationery" and is always happy to see the Christmas Collection.  If you haven't yet checked it out, be sure to do so very soon at:  http://www.forgetmenotllc.com/Carol-Wilson-Christmas-Collection-c88/

The above picture is one of the new designs on the boxed cards for 2012

Love this time of year!  The air is crisp...the days  are warm, the evenings are cool and you can smell autumn in the air!  I bought a big bag of Honeycrisp apples last week....they are just the very best, so crunchy and juicy, can't get enough of them!  But their season is short, just through Thanksgiving....have to enjoy them as we can.

Door County has been viewed many times as one of the top 10 Fall Foliage Desinations in the U.S.  Our fall colors peak generally around mid-October, but we expect they may peak earlier this year.  So come up and enjoy the colors and the wonderful apples.  Our farm markets along the roads have many wonderful apples, pumpkins, chocolate-covered cherries and homemade pies.  Yum!  And you will love the scarecrows!

Here at 'Forget-Me-Not,LLC', we are always here Monday thru Saturday 10am-5pm Central Time to take care of your requests, whether they are for 'Carol Wilson Stationery', 'Tonner/Effanbee' dolls and/or outfits, our beautiful Custom-made Totes & Bags or our Custom-made doll outfits; let us be the website you go to first!  Our Christmas items from 'Carol Wilson' are up and available; do check them out, and of course, there is something new this year, as there is every year.

The Tote we are showing is a lovely chocolate brown corduroy in a large size with a perfectly coordinated cotton lining and a beautiful deep red roses bib....luscious!

Check with us often for the newest available items, and enjoy these wonderful autumn days!

Beautiful, Beautiful Fish Creek, located in Northern Door County in Northeastern Wisconsin. You are looking at Peninsula State Park  which runs along the Bay of Green Bay and is located in Fish Creek; blessed are we!  Door County is a rather large peninsula, and when looking at the shape of Wisconsin, it looks like a 'mitten' with Door County being the 'thumb' of the mitten. Door County attracts a couple of million tourists every year, and interestingly enough it is getting to be that people are coming up earlier in the year as well as later in the year.  So there is very little time where there are no tourists.  Door County attracts so many because “the Door” offers everything from beautiful scenery all 4 seasons, art galleries, wonderful restaurants, lighthouses, fishing, boating, swimming, camping, RVing, hiking and and so forth. It seems there is nothing lacking here except the big city environment!

At 'Forget-Me-Not, LLC' we are getting ready to put our 'Carol Wilson Fine Arts' Christmas Note Cards, Gift Tags, Recipe Cards, Single Card Packs, Invitations, etc on our website.  They will be available for purchase the first week of September, so be watching because you don't want to miss out on a thing!  We also have a 'special' for September only!

That's it for now.  Check back often to see what's going on in Fish Creek and at
'Forget-Me-Not, LLC'

Thanks to our men and women in uniform for keeping us all safe.  You are very special indeed, and we appreciate each and everyone of you!

Beautiful Fish Creek!
Where are we, you may say?  Fish Creek is located in Door County WI which is surrounded by the waters of both Green Bay and Lake Michigan. It is a natural peninsula and is often referred to as "The Cape Cod of the Midwest."  In the middle of all of this beauty and natural retreat, is our little village known as Fish Creek. Overall, here is where it all comes together: the shoreline, the bluffs overlooking the deep waters of Lake Michigan, and on many days offshore islands are in view.  We are fortunate indeed, as we have perhaps the most complete and wonderful public park for year round activities in Wisconsin: Peninsula State Park, and it is right here in Fish Creek!

Here at 'Forget-Me-Not, LLC' we have been quite busy.  We have a new website, making it so much easier for you all to navigate.  Now you can 'search', create your own account, wishlist, just to name a few of the options available to you.  Be sure to check it out soon!  We have received many positive comments on it.

Our 'Totes & Bags' page is new too!  The 'Collegiate Series' is becoming quite popular with our college fans, of course.

This Tote is completed in a Bright Red with White Elephants and the Bib is done in a Black/White Houndstooth.  Various Red/White and/or Houndstooth Linings are available.
Front ViewThis Charmer is completed in all Bright Reds and Whites.  Perfect for all those who are fans of football teams in colors of Red & White!

For all our Tonner Doll Collector Fans, we are expecting delivery of American Model 22" Goth Basic by mid-August.  She is a Beauty and is still available as a Pre-Order.  Look what else is available and in stock for her:
A Beautiful Outfit and Only One Remaining!

Cami Basic 2012 also has an expected delivery date mid-August.  She is also available now as a Pre-Order.  Cami has always been very popular.

That's all for now.  Have a wonderful time enjoying the rest of your summer.  My thoughts to you all and special thoughts and prayers to our Armed Forces.  Thanks for all You do!
